Daily amounts (2 capsules). The label lists 1 capsule, so these are double the label numbers.

Folate (L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate): 800 mcg DFE

Lutein: 24 mg

Zeaxanthin: 6 mg (lutein and zeaxanthin from marigold extract)

How to take

Take 1 capsule with breakfast and 1 capsule with dinner, or as directed by your doctor.

Take it with food. On an empty stomach it may upset your stomach (usually the zinc); food takes care of it.

Each bottle holds 120 capsules: a 60-day supply at 2 capsules a day.

Caution: Consult your physician before use, especially if pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or under medical care. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place. Do not use if the safety seal is broken or missing.

Why the label looks small

FDA rules require the label to list what is in one capsule, because you take them one at a time: one in the morning, one at night. So every number on our label is half of what you get in a day. The Ingredients section above shows the full daily amounts.

Comparing with another eye vitamin? Check its serving size first. Many count 2 pills as one serving, so their label already shows a whole day while ours shows half a day. Compare their label to our daily amounts, not to our label.

FAQ

Who formulated it? Charles Harris, MD, a board-certified retina specialist and the founder of PrecisionMD Health LLC.

How long does one bottle last? 120 capsules at 2 a day is a 60-day supply.

Why two capsules instead of one? The full daily amounts don't fit comfortably in one capsule, and splitting them between breakfast and dinner means each dose is taken with food.

Can I take it with my multivitamin? Many multivitamins also contain zinc, vitamin E, folate and B vitamins. Add up the totals and review them with your doctor before combining.

Is it vegetarian and gluten-free? Yes. The capsule is plant cellulose, and the formula is gluten-free.

Does it replace an eye exam? No. It supports a daily routine. It doesn't replace regular eye exams or the care your own doctor recommends.

Shipping

Better value on multiple bottles: buy 2 bottles and pay the same shipping as 1. Shipping stays the same for 3 to 5 bottles.
