Who formulated it?
Charles Harris, MD, a board-certified retina specialist and the founder of PrecisionMD Health LLC.
How do I take it?
One capsule with breakfast and one with dinner. Take it with food; on an empty stomach the zinc can upset your stomach.
How long does one bottle last?
120 capsules at 2 a day is a 60-day supply.
Why does the label list one capsule?
FDA rules require the label to show what is in one capsule, because you take them one at a time. Every number on the label is half of your daily amount. Many other eye vitamins count 2 pills as one serving, so compare their label to our daily amounts, not to our label.
Can I take it with my multivitamin?
Many multivitamins also contain zinc, vitamin E, folate and B vitamins. Add up the totals and review them with your doctor before combining.
Is it vegetarian and gluten-free?
Yes. The capsule is plant cellulose, and the formula is gluten-free.
Does it replace an eye exam?
No. It supports a daily routine. It doesn't replace regular eye exams or the care your own doctor recommends.
How much is shipping?
Buy 2 bottles and pay the same shipping as 1. Shipping stays the same for 3 to 5 bottles. Ordering more than 5? Email info@maculaprecisionmd.com.
